1. General Provisions

These Conditions of Purchase govern all purchases of digital products made through the website https://robilau.com, operated by Robilau – Creative Outputs ("Robilau", "we", "us", or "our"), a business registered in Germany.

Robilau develops and distributes software plugins, extensions, modules, components, and related digital products for Joomla and WordPress.

These conditions apply to consumers and business customers worldwide, subject to applicable mandatory laws and consumer protection rights.

By completing a purchase, customers agree to these Conditions of Purchase.

2. Products and Digital Delivery

All products sold by Robilau are digital software products delivered electronically. No physical goods are shipped.

Following successful payment and acceptance of the order, customers receive access to the purchased software through their customer account, a download link, or another electronic delivery method specified during checkout.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their hosting environment, Joomla or WordPress installation, PHP version, and other technical requirements are compatible with the purchased software.

Product descriptions specify the principal features, compatibility requirements, and functionality of each product.

3. Ordering and Contract Formation

Products displayed on robilau.com constitute an invitation to submit an order.

By completing checkout and clicking the purchase button, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the selected product.

Customers may review and correct their order details before submitting their order.

A contract is concluded when Robilau accepts the order, for example by issuing an order confirmation or making the purchased digital product available.

Robilau reserves the right to reject orders for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud or payment failure.

4. Prices and Payments

All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website.

Applicable taxes, including VAT where required, are displayed during checkout before the purchase is completed.

Payment must be completed before access to purchased products is provided, unless otherwise agreed.

Available payment methods are shown during checkout.

Customers may be subject to currency conversion charges imposed by their payment providers.

5. Purchase and Support Period

Each product purchase includes:

Access to download the purchased software.
Twelve (12) months of technical support.
Twelve (12) months of access to software updates and new versions made available for the purchased product.
The right to use, modify, and redistribute the GPL-licensed software according to its applicable license.

The twelve-month support and update period begins on the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified during checkout.

The purchase does not require the customer to enter into an automatically renewing subscription.

After the initial twelve-month period, access to commercial updates, support, and download services may expire, subject to statutory obligations.

The customer's rights under the GPL license remain unaffected.

6. Optional Renewal

Customers may renew their access to technical support, updates, and download services for an additional twelve-month period.

Renewal is entirely optional.

There is no obligation to renew, and customers will not be charged automatically for a new support period unless they have separately and expressly agreed to an automatic renewal arrangement.

If the customer does not renew:

The software already obtained may continue to be used under its applicable GPL license.
Technical support provided under the commercial package ends.
Access to new feature releases and commercial update services ends, except where updates are required by applicable law.
Existing GPL licensing rights remain valid.

Renewal prices will be displayed before the customer confirms a renewal purchase.

7. GPL Software Licensing

All software products distributed by Robilau are released under the GNU General Public License (GPL), as identified in the applicable product documentation.

Under the applicable GPL license, customers have the freedom to use, study, modify, and redistribute the licensed software, subject to the requirements of that license.

The purchase price covers access to the software distribution and the associated commercial services, including updates and technical support during the purchased support period.

Robilau does not impose restrictions that conflict with the applicable GPL license.

Expiration of a support or update period does not terminate the customer's GPL rights.

Robilau branding, trademarks, and other materials not covered by the applicable GPL license remain subject to their respective intellectual property rights.

8. Software Updates

Customers with an active support and update period receive access to available updates for their purchased products.

Updates may include bug fixes, compatibility improvements, security enhancements, performance improvements, and new features.

Robilau does not guarantee compatibility with every third-party extension, theme, template, or hosting configuration.

Access to optional new versions and commercial update services normally ends when the support period expires.

However, consumers retain any statutory entitlement to conformity and security updates under applicable law, including Section 327f of the German Civil Code (BGB). Such obligations are not restricted by the expiration of the commercial update period.

9. Technical Support

Technical support is included for twelve months from the date of purchase and may be extended through optional renewal.

Technical support generally includes assistance with installation, configuration, documented product features, and troubleshooting reproducible product-related errors.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, support does not include custom development, third-party software maintenance, server administration, website redesign, or modifications made by customers.

Support is provided within reasonable timeframes, depending on the nature and complexity of the request.

After expiration of the support period, customers may renew support access to continue receiving assistance.

Statutory remedies for defective digital products remain unaffected.

10. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers purchasing digital products online generally have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) days without providing a reason.

For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the withdrawal period generally begins upon conclusion of the contract.

Immediate Digital Delivery

Where the legal requirements are satisfied, the statutory right of withdrawal expires once the delivery of digital content begins, provided that:

The consumer has expressly consented to delivery beginning before the withdrawal period expires.
The consumer has expressly acknowledged that this consent results in the loss of the statutory withdrawal right once delivery begins.
Robilau has provided the legally required confirmation of the contract and the consumer's consent and acknowledgment.

These requirements must be fulfilled separately from the general acceptance of these Conditions of Purchase.

If the requirements have not been satisfied, the statutory withdrawal right remains applicable.

The applicable withdrawal instructions and model withdrawal form must be provided separately.

11. Refund Policy

Robilau does not offer a voluntary money-back guarantee or refunds solely because a customer changes their mind.

Refunds are provided where required by applicable law.

This includes situations in which a customer validly exercises a statutory right of withdrawal or is entitled to a refund because a digital product is defective, cannot be supplied, or fails to conform to the contract.

Customers experiencing technical difficulties should contact support@robilau.com and provide relevant information about the issue.

Where required by law, Robilau will provide appropriate remedies, including correction of defects, replacement, price reduction, or contract termination with reimbursement.

Nothing in these conditions excludes statutory warranty rights or other mandatory consumer protections.

12. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for maintaining suitable hosting environments and keeping appropriate backups before installing or updating software.

Customers should follow installation instructions and technical requirements supplied with the products.

Customers must not misuse website accounts, payment systems, or access credentials.

These obligations do not limit the customer's rights under the applicable GPL license or mandatory consumer law.

13. Intellectual Property and Trademarks

Software distributed under the GPL remains subject to the applicable GPL license.

Robilau retains its rights in original branding, trademarks, logos, and other materials not licensed under the GPL.

Joomla and WordPress are trademarks of their respective owners.

Robilau products are independent software solutions unless an official affiliation is expressly stated.

14. Warranty and Liability

Robilau provides its digital products in accordance with the contractual descriptions and applicable statutory requirements.

Consumers retain all mandatory rights relating to the conformity of digital products.

Robilau is liable without limitation for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health resulting from negligent breaches of duty.

For slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations, liability may be limited to foreseeable damages typical for the contract, to the extent legally permissible.

Mandatory statutory liability, including liability under applicable product liability provisions, remains unaffected.

15. Privacy and Personal Data

Personal information collected during the ordering process is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.

16. Applicable Law

These Conditions of Purchase are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.

Consumers residing in other countries retain mandatory protections that cannot lawfully be excluded by a choice of German law.

Any jurisdiction agreement with business customers applies only to the extent permitted by law.

17. Changes to These Conditions

Robilau may modify these Conditions of Purchase for future transactions.

The conditions applicable at the time of purchase generally govern the corresponding contract.

Changes to existing contracts require an appropriate legal or contractual basis.
